Our editorial standards
Health information should be accurate, clear and honest about its limits. This is how we make sure ours is.
Who writes our content
Our guides and articles are written by the Vantage Health Coverage editorial team. We are not doctors, dentists or dermatologists, and we never present ourselves as such.
If a qualified professional reviews a guide in future, we will name them and their credentials on that page. We never invent authors, reviewers or credentials.
How we research
We base our content on trusted, publicly available sources: the NHS, NICE, the World Health Organization, UK government guidance, professional bodies and peer-reviewed research.
Every guide lists the sources it relies on, so you can check them yourself. When we quote an expert, we quote their published work and link to it.
What we will not do
We do not promise cures, give personal medical advice or suggest doses beyond official guidance.
We do not publish statistics or claims we cannot trace to a reliable source. If we are unsure, we leave it out.
We do not accept payment to recommend products, and we do not use affiliate links in our guides.
How we keep content up to date
We review each Ultimate Guide every 6 to 12 months, or sooner when official guidance changes. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, please tell us at info@vantagegroupinc.org. We will check it and correct it promptly.
